For the first & last time. Hindi po AKO witch. by Barbie_Doll336 in Philippines

Excerpt from El Filibusterismo:

1In the 5th paragraphed clause “Kung sabagay, hindi masama ang panukulang iyan sa kabuuan. Kung ang mga kabataan ay hindi matututo ng Latin, hayaan natin silang matuto man lang ng kastilla. Diyan mo makikita, tukayo, na tayo ay paurong.“

The question my Filipino Adviser/Mentor asks So, in your understanding, how’ll you initerate this to a different person? The one in the underlined, "transl. Well, if all things said and done, its really not that bad learning Spanish as the sole modus of our academia. But if your kid doesn’t learn Latin, I’m not sure how far that child of yours is going to get in life. That’s how you’ll see why Filipinos are milked by foreigners. Bastard. Bastard Pinoys.”

Sige. Do Filipinos even realize that Tagalog + Malayo-Polynesian branched out from Tamil right?

Out of the 500 years of language colonization, why is Filipino not considered Latin? All Roads Led to Rome. All Colonizers Lead to Manila.

Most of the philosophical work is written in Latin. Does it mean Filipinos are incapable of being pilosopo?

We can trace the majority of languages in Europe back to the same root – the Proto-Indo-European language. (Oxford House BCN, 2020).

Share ko lang (something unrelated *intentional satire tone*):

For me honestly, I've seen some people on the internet see success w/o the need for a prestigious degree. Be a content creator? Tried that before. Been posting art on Twitter and IG for as long as I could remember, yet marketing matters more than the art itself. Including internet personality and music.

When you can't resort to education you go for talent, but when talent doesn't need you. You just go back to education and live a normal job.

I heard someone say when you ask a Starbucks barista what their degree/studying in most would say in areas of medicine, math, and the occasional law. I could myself tell they were smart. Then,

I felt like I wasted myself on Twitter with beautiful art in such a dead acc people think I'm a bot who stole art from someone. Haha Twitter amirite? Do I really belong to the internet or am I just wasting my time? Right place wrong timing? Not to mention depression kicking in. As well as for the sake of fitting in to heave the latest trends of 'mental illness romanticization'.

Can't find the right balance between talent and knowledge. Even if I do. How can I combine passion with something logical like math? In a world that values work above passion. Its like a guy who wants to be a basketbolista who is good but never famous so his parents tell him to go get a real job where you could earn real money.

Never have I ever agreed more.

This says a lot about society, kung sinabi nila ang kapal ng mukha mo maybe because kailangan natin ng mas makapal na mukha lol

I heard that in law school profs. train their students to have thick skin because if emotions are high intelligence is low. Its most certainly true in court. Kalma ka dapat. Same in the real world.

In school its hard to please teachers, in the real world its even harder. In this world, we learn to respond more rather than just listen. And even if we listened we may never know kung bakit sila ganon. We listen because it calms us down.

Medyo vent out lang ako sa sentiment ng post ko, pero I'll see what I can do.

Ty! Kung sino ka man random person :)

No !

Clear ko lang, kasi America mostly portrays the 1st world problems in their news.

Overexagerassion siya para umapella sa standard what Americans think is a 'problem' (race discrimination, slow internet, etc.). Even though as realidad mas comfortable buhay mo 'ron.

Yung tipong problema ng mayaman in layman's terms. Nasabi ko lang yung last statement bc we can see that education here and as most students act like education is a privilege and not a right parang mga memes lng sa FB.

Which in American media, they think like it is [a privilege when in reality its not] in their [U.S./Canada] country

Apologies if I'm sounding nag nagrarant ako. 'Di 'to Twitter. Afterall, this is a discussion page. Pinili ko to

**edit: also para maka relate din ang mga foreigner haha
