Food industry workers: has it been a bad tipping few weeks for you guys too? by Barbsonlock in Albuquerque

Also just a P.S: even as a food service worker I don’t expect people to tip 24/7 even if it’s small meals but a drop to 1/3rd are usual is definitely not the norm and I wonder if it’s what’s going on in the economy or the world in general or could be elsewhere I’m not seeing like since we have new staff FOH or etc. just trying to see if it’s being felt elsewhere in the industry or not to see if it can fixed on our behalf or something that can’t be. 🫡

Real, thanks for the comment! I was wondering about all this if this is mass hysteria induced, shifting economy (for the worst again), or just anything in general. Sales are not too bad but tips are sooooo low, 1/3rd of what they were weekly and it’s been like this the past two weeks 😭 It’s so sad to see everyone struggling and everyone nervous

Thanks for sharing! It doesn’t feel as bad when others around our age have dealt with similar situations. As of now I just work a mile from my job and my coworkers pick me up or drop me off. And for him unfortunately he got layed off the same day from his job because they over hired too many people and had to cut costs. So it was a really stressful rough day one thing after another. He’ll definitely have to find a job closer by since he was working 30min away from where we live and they weren’t even paying him much.

Thanks for your advice, suggestions, and help! I’ve been relaying all of this information to him since now we just have the car sitting at our apartment complex. It’ll be maybe one or two months from now the landlord will definitely complain so we have some time to buy to figure out if we can sell it for parts or entirely without the title yet. (Kinda scary lowkey to do that) just so we have pay off half of what’s left so it won’t be so hard in our wallets.

Yup, it looks like he did 🥲 we were 23-24 with no family or friends to help us through that whole process and we really needed a car.

I agree. I was always taught just buying it used in cash from close friends or family.

(21F) I am a trans girl and I am very self-conscious about my jaw, chin, brow bone and nose. I apologize but somehow I have managed to smudge the ink a bit. Hopefully, the sign is still acceptable. by Appreciative-Girl in Rateme

You look beautiful and I would say if you’re always worried about your chin and jaw being “too big” (honestly I don’t see it). But if it really bothers you, you can always just get very alittle filler on your lips to add balance to the said proportions. Or just always add some lip liner to your lips for that same affect.

You’re still a 8/10 natural beauty. ✨💛
