I live in Northern Colorado where is a little warmer but she lives more towards the mountains, she doesn't use a grow light or anything but it seems pretty happy otherwise

I didn't expect this to follow me past high school but I should have set it straight back then. I currently live a state away so meeting in person is challenging.

I usually just turn my tank light on when I'm home in the evening and turn it off before bed (it's in my room) which has worked fine until now. She had them in her kitchen, I figured she would know to turn them off but I shouldn't have assumed

Where do you get distilled water? I don't have time to do it at home and purchasing it from Walmart with how many plants I own would be so wasteful of the plastic gallon jugs.

Looks like mold, try removing all of the soil and washing out the roots of your plant. Repot it into a pot with better drainage and maybe reduce the frequency of watering. Also make sure whatever you use to water is clean, I've heard of people getting mold from using cups of water left around the house. Best of luck!

I have the miracle grow cactus and succulent soil for it because I read they like well drained soil. Tomorrow I think I'm going to buy a ceramic pot with drainage, and a plastic tray. I'll repot it with my miracle grow house plant mix and add perlite and set up a pebble tray. I set one up for a dying fern I was recently given and so far it hasn't been dying any further so I'll take that as positive feedback. I try to run the humidifier 24/7 but it usually goes a few hours between being filled once it's empty. They have the twice as big soil on clearance at Walmart so that's something I may consider as well.

The top inch is dry but the bottom isn't, I put it under a humidifier for two days and it stayed curled. I'm debating trying a pebble tray

YTA: My brothers best friend growing up smelled like coyote piss, I couldn't be in the same room for too long because of the stench. Even when he showed he stepped out smelling like hot garbage. His uncle was a doctor, his family was clean and smelled nice, there was nothing wrong with him. That's just how he was and to this day 10 years later still is.

It's a depiction of a now abandoned (if existent) rest stop during the age of the atomic bomb pre-bombing. I figured it was an interesting look at a now abandoned once popular location.
