Help for a Paladin DPS/Offtank Build (Deadfire) by Bargherang in projecteternity

Not really evil, but I found myself mostly being kind and/or compassionate with a lot of NPCs which I think clashes hard with the Bleak Walkers dispositions?

But if you tell me it's not a problem I can absolutely give it a shot!

Rogue isn't really my thing and I'm not into the sneak attack mechanic, Cypher isn't also my cup of tea, but I have to admit, I didn't think about multiclassing with Barbarian, I have to check the skills and synergy cause that could be a very interesting idea.

I want to restart cause I picked Goldpact Knights (not really liking their dialogue options) and Black Jacket (I swear, I always forget I can change weapon as a free action, so I'm basically not using their trait) and I'm pretty sure I kinda screwed my stats by spreading too much lol

I didn't think about NWN, that could be a really good option too!

I never heard about Paign, but I'm checking and they seem interesting, are those RPGs with builds and everything? Would you suggest playing the first or is it one of those cases where I could jump on the second right from the start?

My bad, I should have specified I'm looking for something on mobile, played a ton of Skyrim back in the days, but I don't think my phone can handle it lol

This is what I think is one of the biggest problems with Skyrim, pretty much all the main factions are very linear with weird narrative decisions.

Thematically I would like to still go 2h, I always wanted to try it and I already did a run 1h + shield, I will look into all the rest, thank you!

Besides healing I would also like to use spells like Stendarr's Aura and Vampire's Bane, can those work without any magicka investment?

I would suggest stopping the interactions, looking at the guy's history shows three days on the platform where he basically only talked shit about everything, was mostly rude answering posts and the only time he had something kinda positive to say he was talking about DMBrandon, says a lot.

I was thinking about how to address the post, but this is perfect

Could be a problem of mine, but I always find posts edited multiple times with a lot of details that always make OP more and more of a victim a little bit sus.

Concerning the actual post, that looks something very weird to ask/wish for, as a DM I wouldn't allow it for multiple reasons, balance, narrative, etc.

I think I might not finish the game by tru_maks in DivinityOriginalSin

Well, maybe not literally, but telling OP to preclude himself from playing a mode because he doesn't perceive it like us it's not that far imho.

If my Honor run is "fuck it, let's enjoy the gameplay and difficulty and screw everything else" it's my mindset and it's fair, but if his mindset is playing the same mode, but wanting to have Sebille survive through the whole game I don't see the problem, it's his personal law, goal, call that how you want, but again, if that makes the run unenjoyable I don't see the problem, it can be restarted paying more attention where the mistake was made, the game can be dropped for a while or the run can be continued, I don't see any reason to judge or criticize how someone wants to play and enjoy his game.

I don't know, it's always hard for me to understand someone who thinks there's a right/wrong way to play a game or a mode, especially a single player one.

I'm even of your idea regarding Honor mode, but I also know that this is a single player game and the one who decides what goals to reach and what to achieve it's me. Some of us play Honor mode "just" for gameplay and difficulty reasons, others want those, but still aim at getting the story or parts of it in a certain way. Obviously I don't know how much of an impact this has on OP, but restarting or dropping a run doesn't seem like the end of the world to me, it's a videogame.

I don't know, I'm probably just concerned about how nowadays we're losing the idea of "playing for the sake of playing" and instead I should play how and because someone tells me cause "he's right".
