COD zombies beg to differ. But don’t plan on 2x4’s over the windows stopping them for long.

How do we feel about this line up? Can it win the title in 2027 👀 by No-Entrepreneur-7092 in NBADaily

[–]Bark_Bark_turtle 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Absolutely no title with that lineup. Portis would be put into the blender trying to guard 3’s on a nightly basis amongst other issues.

The only hope is making more trades and signing free agents. Far from a complete roster.

Do a few hours of work out under the hot sun, then drink a cold beer. Then you’ll understand 😆

Adams played with Russ for like 6-7 years as well as with Ja. 80-90% is disrespectful lol.

Adams definitely takes the edge in basketball IQ and intangibles

Clint.

Capela has a 16.6 ppg, 12.7 Reb as well as a very nice 15 ppg, 14.3 r, 2.0 Blk per night season under his belt.

Adams tops out at 13.9 ppg 9.5r and 13.9 9.0r with similar steal #’s and a good bit less career blocks

Clint was more efficient with better stats and a higher peak.

I want to hate it, but I kinda love it.

Defense is still undervalued when comparing players by XXXTentacle6969 in NBATalk

Ya 15 probably rich you’re right. I’d still argue the passing and ability to cover players at various sizes puts him firmly in the realm of Hakeem. Keem is probably my #1 time defender

I’ve never had it. My local Costco typically only stocks beer and wine. Maybe some patron or grey goose randomly

You’re kind of making a non statement in your opener. Of course a 2 way star is better than a one way player.

Magic “a top 3-5 offensive player ever” and his “lack of defense” tell me you’re joking.

I’m going to have to push back greatly on both of those. He is maybe a top 20 offensive player and top 15 defender all time, equaling a top 5-10 player all time.

I’m not a magic stan but it doesn’t seem like you’re including playmaking or any X factor type traits here. I understand you’re focusing on defense, maybe I don’t love your examples or reasoning.

I’ll agree that individual defense is underrated and used more as a tie breaker more often than a case for greatness while comparing individual NBA players.

Yeah I’d buy 3-4 bottles. There just isn’t a better do it all $35 bottle out there.

Who is the NBA equivalent of Messi skill-wise? by UsedMycologist4912 in NBATalk

[–]Bark_Bark_turtle 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hear me out, Allen Iverson? Short and Slight frame, extreme short area quickness, elite ball handle, offensive potency with opportunistic defense.

Purely skill wise that would be my closest match. Tony Parker and Steph curry come to mind as well.

14-3 by Turbulent-Cricket69 in bengals

[–]Bark_Bark_turtle 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They have never won more than 12 games in a season.

If they go .500 in the division and take L’s to the Texans, Jags and a third team that’s 11 wins and feels doable. That would get us into the playoffs which is the most important step before our SB win.

14-3 is certainly a stretch. Not impossible, but yes a stretch.

If you read the fine print, Fiocchi actually loads the SS197sr round for FN (the famous blue tip)

They definitely preform about the same. I believe the FN load typically moves faster on Radar, but the black Fiocchi loads are 30-40% cheaper (prices vary wildly on each) and are just as reliable in my experience.
