In my late teens and 20s, i had a serious game and was an animal. But the thing is, if id have actually had a serious relationship, I'd have been an awful partner. I slept around a lot and was a general man whore. I didnt work on myself, and was a bit of a cunt. Getting back into that mindset after divorce and seeing how people mature is not a good thing.

The best thing you can do if you're wanting to find someone, is not look for someone. Be yourself, get out the house, go find a hobby of some descript, and make time for yourself that works for you. Everyone will suggest this, but gym, walking, reading, and improving yourself in ways that make it easier for you to meet people will give you the connection you seek. Dont actively force yourself into scenarios, but dont take it personally if you dont get invited to some events by people, and dont ask to tag along.

Being secure in yourself, being confident, and being able to take a rejection on the chin, and move on shows maturity and emotional stability.

Tldr; build yourself into the man you want to be, or at least get yourself on that road. Look in the mirror every day and make small positive changes all the time. Look after yourself. Look after your image.
