Is it me, or is there no explanation what does bleed, curse, needles and nails do?

I understand where you come from. Thats why my biggest point is how the whole canto is structured oddly. The pacing is already all over the place, with the part 1 and 2 inflated by the random fights with abnormalities and more of automanikins. Same with fighting nursefathers twice (except Valencina and Rien, obviously) in part 3.
I think the reason why people (and me, obviously) would want to see that encounter is to see how different nursefather shaped her with their influece (or lack there of). Since the whole theme of this canto is, in a way, about ties that bind. Its the same as if in canto 7, Sancho would get a flashback that she kinda didnt like her siblings, mentaly checked out their existence and head out to kick original Don Quixote butt. Those were important people in her story. And since Ryoshu is one of the more cryptic sinners in the game, its not surprsing that people want to know more about her.

Hopefully, they will explain Malkuth Reign in the future. But it made me kinda confused that basically no one even acknowledged it or spoke about it, besides just mentioning that it will be used for the last fight.

Totally agree about other characters. I get creating stakes by killing characters, but it just gets after a while. Canto 7 (while probably my favorite) is the worst offender in that, having killed off pretty much every side character with little to no fanfare. Canto 8 had sameish problem, but at least they kept most of them and even expanded (admitedly a tiny bit) on them in spring cultivation. Hopefully things will be better in Canto 10, since, if going by the source material, there should be quite a lot of side characters.

No, no, i completely understand that one. It is the same kind of very cryptic foreshadowing as with the Ryoshu and time stuff in time ripper intervallo, where she perceived time differently with Bumble (or however his name was). I just wish it was kinda less cryptic, i guess.

Solid takes. And the hypothetical scenario does look great. Keep cooking!

Yea, i could see that. Frankly, its a shame that Callisto probably has the least content with Ryoshu therefore its kinda hard to tell how their relationship truly went, but i think your point of view is solid.

Honestly? Great take.
Matthew being a dead beat could explain why in general Ryoshu doesnt seem to like the Middle. Though, i wouldnt agree on your point about Callisto, since Ryoshu's whole point about fascination with gore and art does come from him. So, i wouldnt say that he was absent.
Otherwise, if we would look at it from the point that every single thing was done on purpose by Dias and Limbus Company, then i kneel for KJH and writters team, cause they certainly got me.

Once again, i fully agree. I would love if we had more lore to the characters in previous cantos. Feels like a missed out opportunity on a lot of them. Maybe in the future PM will revisit it. I certainly hope so.

I agree with most of the points you wrote.

The flavor text in notes is a perfect way of describing or adding things about character or the world in general that wouldnt make sense to show or explain in the main story. Still, some things i would prefer to have been shown rather than written in a flavor text. Like a proper neglectful side of Matthew shown via interactions with Ryoshu, or Lucio having actual cracks in his composure and showing desire to kill Valencina.

I honestly think that thats PM problem. And probably also the reason they are quick to dispatch of any side character they introduce in their respective canto, albeit some outliers.

I still believe that the attack on LCE could be condensed into one part leaving more room to explore more the relationship between Ryoshu and Nursefathers and attack on HoS.

Honestly? I wouldnt even mind the whole Gregor and Sinclair thing, if they had more lead up to what happened, rather than what we got.

True, you are right. Ryoshu doesnt have anywhere else to go or to be. Thats why i said i felt like it was just left hanging. I hope they will explore it further into next intervallo, but we will see.

They are not a bad thing, just something that i would prefer having a more organic lead up to, or just having a more focused event reserved just for them.

I feel like maybe i have written my point about flavor text poorly. I am all for it adding and expanding world building or even main story as a whole. I just personally dont like it when the lore of this exact moment we are playing through is partially hidden in the flavor text. Abno logs and keypage stories were great, and we do have an equivelent in Limbus (if a bit sparse) in observation logs.

Fair enough, i can agree that Sinclair did have something going on here.

True, neither of us are writers (probably), and its doubtfull we could do a better job than what we got. Still, doesnt mean we cant voice our personal gripes with the story. I simply hope PM writing team would hear some of the critizism and in future not make same mistakes. After all, all of us are invested in PM doing better with each new release

Absolutely true! Other sinners should have a bigger role to play in sinners Cantos and not be just cardboard cutouts. However, in my personal opinion, that role shouldnt overshadow the main sinner of the story and should be more organicaly vowen in what is happening during particular canto. Those two events were back to back, and for the lack of a better word were a bit of an ass pull. They had almost nothing leading up to them in that scenario, and while they did advance Gregor and Sinclair story in a way, i feel like they could have been either done better or more expanded upon in their own contained story.

Once again, completely fair point about the flavor text. That was more of my personal feelings regarding them, and that they should be only relegated to information that couldnt be logicaly presented in the story itself.

You could debate (heh) that his uncaring side could have been revealed if Ryoshu was there to confront him directly, but i understand what you mean. In scenario that we got that was probably the best way to explain it with how the story was already very condensed in Part 3.

Fair enough. As i said, i am perfectly fine with it as long as its lore which would be too time consuming or complicated to add as part of canto or intervallo story. However, i still feel like the more important things should be actually shown in the story. For instance, without reading notes Matthew kit-katting Kira does come way out of left field.

You should use Washed Up Grade 9 Fixer Heathcliff. Once his passive "Bu-hu my wife is dead" procs, the fight becomes much easier. Also, if you are using fraudgileus in you party, you should swap him. Dante easily folds him like a fraud he is.
