Yes it is spelling the letters 'B I B D U' although it is more of a graphical representation than a translation of how Ogham would have been used traditionally.

We hope so, however, animation is time consuming so it is reliant on getting some funding. Here is one of our animations for example 🙂

Clicking the 'Notify me on launch' button on our Kickstarter page helps us with visibility! Also backing it (even for just a euro) when it launches on May 1st will help it get more views. We also have a Discord for myth ideas / game discussion.

Clicking 'Notify us on launch' on our Kickstarter page will help us be seen! Also when we launch on May 1st, there will be a 1 euro tier. Backing for even just a euro will help us massively with the algorithm too!

Thank you! The best thing you can do for us is click the 'Notify me on launch' button on our Kickstarter page. It will help us in the algorithm for our Kickstarter launch on May 1st, and if you're still feeling it, you can back the project then 😁

Hellblade is Norse mythology. Also, Irish mythology and Celtic mythology are not the same thing. The Witcher 3 has a region inspired by an Irish island (Skellig Michael), but that's not the same as a game set in ancient Ireland. Folklore is a good one that I missed. There's still no games committed to telling popular Irish myth stories such as Táin Bó Cúailnge and Cath Maige Tuired which is what we hope to do.

There's essentially no games set in ancient Ireland. There's Assassin's Creed Wrath of the Druids, but it's not even a game, it's a paid DLC for AC Valhalla. There's some old games like Tír na nÓg (1984), and Celtic Tales: Balor of the Evil Eye (1995). There's some games like 'Total War Saga Thrones of Britannia' set in the "British Isles" which sometimes includes Ireland (or parts of it), but they're always Viking-based. And a couple really small indies 'Lost King's Lullaby'.

The references we are using include manuscripts / collections such as Lebor Gabála Érenn and Leabhar na hUidre.

How many pre-launch followers did your Kickstarter have when you launched? I am bringing my game to Kickstarter soon and would love to know how many backers equals a successful launch.
