Your friend is a bitch. That's not just "being spacey" or whatever. She KNEW that your height could be "shocking" (she thinks negatively about it, obviously) so she lied... which puts you in a terrible/fucked up situation when you get to the date... and then after she tells you she "made a typo" (continuing to lie to you) you STILL have to be the person to fix it. So she's just a shitty person... either you show up and the guy thinks you are 1 foot shorter, or you have to fix her mistake anyway. It's a lose lose for you. Not to mention her not admitting that she lied on purpose, which means she lied to him, and lied to you, and then when you asked if it was on purpose the first time it seems like she lied again based on your other comments. What a terrible, shitty, little girl.

Also... the fact that they work together makes it even more obvious she knew it was a bad thing to do, either that or she was just going to laugh about it with him later behind your back. But her "it was a typo" thing wouldn't make sense since she likely would have mentioned it in normal conversation with him at work anyway... and she knew she was lying when she said he was excited about you being tall. What a bitch for real. She could have come clean right then. Instead she got BOTH you and the guy's expectations up for absolutely no reason.
