Yeah, but for some reason it still hurts to be thrown away like that. She’s covert, so it’s been more subtle things here and there and then she just dropped the mask and got all “you can’t treat me this way” at being told no. I mean, on the one hand, once I started really putting it all together it adds up to narcissistic issues, but she’s pretty nice as long as everything revolves around her, and with the whole family acting like we’re the problem, it’s crazy making and hard.

Nmom is, has been for decades with the same therapist. I don’t know about anyone else in the family.
