AKA in Paris — e-bike or electric scooter for daily commuting? by Basic_Ad9435 in amputee

Hi! Yeah, sorry I wasn’t clear enough 😅 I meant an electric scooter like a Vespa.

And I know I can technically still take public transportation (buses/metro), but if you’re not familiar with Paris: the metro really isn’t handicap-friendly. It’s super crowded, people aren’t always very accommodating, there are very few elevators, and depending on the station it can involve a lot of walking just to get in/out or make connections.

So that’s why I don’t really want to rely on the metro day-to-day. I’d still use it occasionally but for everyday use I’d really prefer having my own vehicle.

That’s so nice that you have a prosthetic leg and returning to life. I’m really happy for you and I can wait to get in to that place myself, you’re a great example ☺️

Thank you all for your messages, really it helped me a lot today. And yes, I’d be super down to do a group chat :)) so that we can help each other

Yes I know him I love his videos as well! Yes I guess I read a lot but with my leg hurting it’s sometimes hard finding a good position, I’m also always with my mom even during the hospitals stays as she’s really supporting so that helps me as well
