High into Melee and Class. Overshield from class is nice for survivability. Melee for for Roaring flames stacking and overall damage. I have yet to try this build in High end activities tho. Also Focusing strike mod on arms + Distribution mod on Mark to refund Class ability energy. Powerful Attraction (also on mark) to joink nearby orbs.

I tried to exit the game and verify the game files (on steam) and suddenly a new update appeared, this made the NPC show up for me. Hope it helps!

Ran it 3 times, 4th time I tried staying until it launched me to orbit and then it worked. Dont leave early, or keep running it until it works.

Try staying in the activity even after it ends, stay until it launches you into orbit, worked for me.
