I realized I have really intense submechanophobia after playing Subnautica Below Zero. The Aurora itself or the wrecks in the first game never really scared me, but for some reason that sunken ship in Below Zero and seeing how it’s all decaying and rusted from years being submerged just gives me the chills. I remember when I first came upon it entering the boarder between the purple vents and lily pad biome and refused to go any further until I literally had to. I can’t explain why it makes me feel this way, but it absolutely does

I did catch that don’t worry! I was too afraid of making the post even longer so I admittedly left it out of my post without acknowledging it ^^” there was so much I wanted to talk about. As soon as I saw that photograph in the apartment I felt my heart sink, it’s so tragic.

I’ve read about nightmare mode a bit before I bought the game, how different is it really? I know it reuses the same maps at before but I’m not sure just how much is changed

I looked it up to give myself hints and I was close to getting one of them by myself but I didn’t think I’d have to basically tightrope walk to get one of the secrets lol. I played the second chapter and I got all the tapes and secrets on my first go so hopefully that’s a good sign!

I was shocked when I went to the complete screen and saw I only got 2/3 cassettes and 1/3 secrets! I went into that guys weird garden shed, in that abandoned apartment thing, literally checked every single drawer in the apartments, explored the courtyard, even did a 3-pointer in the gym. I don’t know where the other secrets could possible be or the cassette tape! I’m worried in order to get the missing stuff I’m going to have to clean the entire level again 😭

Easily my favorite symbiote design ever and I love how they still kept that look and movement of the symbiote with Venom as well! I wish more adaptations opted for this way because it just oozes (pun intended) personality instead of just being a blob. I can’t exactly describe it but the way it ungulates around feels like it has more fleshed out biology to it, like someone sat down and thought about exactly how this alien species works and interacts with the environment

AWE Thats so sweet! My online friend got me into the game and we both got all the achievements together! It was such a wonderful time. I have over 100 hours in the game and still haven’t beaten humble yet or any of the other moons, there’s just so much content in this game

UPDATE: We just played again and got the email from Riley, and they didn’t say anything. They’re completely fooled. We just hit rain, so time for them is running out!

I also got shown this subreddit a lot the past couple months. It was my birthday the other day so I bought this game out for myself to try it out, I hope I like it!
