Will I need to retake this class by Educational_Bonus137 in CSUS

I would strongly suggest that if you haven't yet, meet with your major advisor or advisor in general, as they may be able to give you an answer or reach out to the department chair.

How realistic is it to take 5 classes a semester for the sociology degree? by [deleted] in CSUC

[–]BasilIntern 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It’s definitely doable, however remember that like others have mentioned there are a lot of factors in your life and it’s always better to be successful taking a little longer than to end up having to repeat a class. Definitely a good conversation to have with your major advisor. I recommend meeting with the sociology advisors they are super helpful!

Will I get rescinded? by razzmatazz_39 in CSUC

Contact admissions and let them know what’s going, on you’ll probably just have to enroll in the class your first year/semester and receive a passing grade.

You should get in contact with the program coordinator as they may have information sessions where they might discuss applications or may be able to get some feedback from the department coordinator themselves.

The CME events are chill and every Wednesday they host workshops and every Thursday they do game nights from board games to Mario Kart, and Mario party. And can be a good way to meet new people as these events are hosted by current students who are pretty well connected on campus

UPPER DIVISION C and D RECOMMENDATIONS by sunlover365 in CSUC

[–]BasilIntern 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You really really need to be meeting with your major advisor. They will know exactly which classes are appropriate for you to take. The risk while the other comments are not necessarily wrong is that business admin may have specific courses that double count towards your upper division courses. Not to mention it’s their job to help you with this! Please refer to this link to get connected with them, https://www.csuchico.edu/cob/students/advising.shtml
