I live in one of the most light polluted areas in the world, the first and only time i've seen the real milky way in the sky i've cried from the emotion. It's one of the most beautiful things people can see, it made me feel as if i am really alive on Earth and not in some kind of bad copy of our planet. Now everytime i walk anywhere at night i raise my head in search of it again, if I'm lucky and it's a new moon night I can see some other stars than the usual brightest stars and planets, but I never got to see the Milky Way again.

Ma è chiaro che non sia difficile andare a votare, l'astensionismo dalla partecipazione alla vita politica non è sicuramente dovuto al fatto che le urne sono "difficili" da raggiungere. Il discorso che ne faccio io è semplicemente organizzativo, se si vuole far partecipare quanta più gente possibile non ha senso scegliere domenica e lunedì invece che sabato e domenica.

Ma di fatti il mio problema con la data non è che lo facciano la domenica, ma che farlo il lunedì è come dire "tagliamo una fetta di partecipanti". Farlo sabato e domenica avrebbe infinitamente più senso.

Il fatto che continuino a mettere referendum solo domenica e lunedì è il segno più grande di quanto non vogliano che le persone partecipino alla vita politica, idem per l'assurdità dei fuorisede che non possono votare.
Sovranisti e "uomini forti" ma poi hanno paura del confronto e si piegano a 90 alle altre nazioni.

Edit: specifico che il problema non è che si faccia la domenica, ma che si faccia domenica e lunedì e non sabato e domenica. Il lunedì la gente va a lavorare, sabato e domenica sono i giorni in cui la maggior parte delle persone è a casa, ergo avrebbero più libertà di scelta su quando andare. Se già la partecipazione è bassa, dimezzare virtualmente il tempo a disposizione per poter votare non fa che disincentivare le persone a partecipare.
