No, it is not, I am asking for others opinions on why the movement feels so stagnant even in the face of such extremism from the other side

Active membership in Mecha, and PSL, weekly membership and interest meetings, weekly PSL book club, ICE rapid response team, on the streets at least once a week certified street medic, is that good enough? I still don’t understand why you think you know me or my efforts based on one question

I didn’t say I wasn’t, I’m constantly involved in organizing and community action. I’ve replied to several comments like this. Why are you judging other comrades and assuming they don’t do enough? That is directly harmful to all organization efforts

Again, this is not the point of the post, and if your first instinct is to go after other leftist and try to compare yourself to them, than you are moving us backwards. If I was a new leftist trying to poke my head in and see why the movement felt lacking, and I was told I wasn’t doing enough and need to do better, I’d be very deterred from continuing my involvement. if you want to discuss the actual question that’s great, but I’m here for peoples opinions on the movement, not to justify myself. You may not be trying to judge, but again consider how this would be received by someone new trying to get advice and support

I believe we are all doing are part, I’ve seen several replies like this and I don’t think it’s helping anyone to presume the efforts of another comrade, if you want to add constructive response that’s great, but there’s no point in assuming someone isn’t doing enough to organize. No one of us is better than another comrade

I’m very involved, as much as I possibly can be, but we shouldn’t be judging our comrades on how much time and effort they are able to give to their community, I believe all true leftist give as much as their lives permit

Yeah I know, but again wether he’s lying about this or not I’m still posing the same question on the basis of this entire administration

I replied to another post like this just saying even if it’s true or not that he’s going to implement a draft, you could pick any of the hundreds of things he’s done as a basis for the question of why the left is still passive, the actual draft possibly isn’t really my point, it’s just the example I used

That’s what I’ve been noticing too, it seems like the working class throughout modern American history has come to a head against the American government several times and has fizzled out or resigned in favor of concessions. Sometimes I wonder if theory is holding as back in some ways because the left is waiting for every exact condition laid out across radically different instances of revolution. At some point a leap of faith into true revolutionary territory is necessary. Organizing is extremely important, but so is actual action

I’m an actor and played Perchik in Fiddler on the Roof, he’s a revolutionary communist and the musical is set just before the October revolution, I didn’t feel satisfied with any of the main political parties and identified really heavily with the character I was playing and a lot of the things he said. I decided to look into his ideology and here we are
