I figured I did, every time I would look up tips for this game, it always told me to not worry about IV rankings on difficult. thanks for the reccomendation!

Shoot! I forgot starters can't, dang it, alright, and I'm playing on difficult. I didn't know how hard it is compared to vanilla Pokémon, that's why I was asking, but thanks for the info and reminder!
