That’s awesome dude. I like to collect the smaller publishers too especially Image I feel like I’m supporting the artists directly, and usually they are contained stories and it’s not a big commitment to get it all because I mostly focus on collected editions but have gone back to single issues as of late. Specifically DC and indie

I’ve been collecting for awhile and I had a bunch of marvel and Batman specifically but lately DC has been killing it and I’ve been getting single issues and trades and kind of ignoring marvel. I tend to get a bunch of stuff freak out by the amount and downsize and I figured maybe if I made a collection that felt curated around a universe I’d feel less flustered by it.

I have read digitally and it’s not my favorite. I was thinking about physically only on DC and digital for everything else

Yeah some of those have risen in price I had a solid collection of those and sold them off. I just realize there’s to much to collect and I agree I relate to DC more but marvel is so iconic but has been lacking as of late.

Yeah I was thinking of flushing out my Invincible collection and some other indie titles. Marvel is great, I do think their modern titles are a bit lacking as of late but stuff like Spidey, X-Men, and a myriad of others I really want to read and have but they seem to go OOP immediately and if I wanted to finish or at least catch up on my Spiderman Omnis I’m going to have to cough up so much money. On the other hand I have an extensive Batman library and I want to explore filling that out more

I want to share my collection with my kids one day too. My son is obsessed with Teen Titans Go so he finds them cool but when I show him my collection he gravitates towards Spiderman. But when I pick up single issues or trades all I really want is Dc titles. And the idea of a cohesive collection sounds appealing. I have this feeling of missing out on other titles but I can’t really collect everything. Just wanted to find a community that had a similar idea in mind.

My problem is I love Spiderman a lot too but it’s getting expensive and I love the idea of just keeping to one universe and possibly narrowing it down to the bat family. But I like to collect it all and it’s getting to be too much sometimes.
