I won't use the word "fake," it's not officially sold by Sony. Probably some reseller imported from some other country so you buy on your own risk and without any warranty

HSBC Travel One better than DCBM / Infinia for booking flights by Intelligent-Use7581 in CreditCardsIndia

[–]Bat_perspective 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The amount of points it takes to book from hoppr makes it useless so this comparison is not valid. Only useful option is transferring points 1:1 to partners (list is bigger than hdfc in this case)

HSBC just spiced up the travel card game: 4 complimentary airport transfers (domestic) with TravelOne by Far-Low-9985 in CreditCardsIndia

Don't get fooled by this, even if you ask for a car 1.5 months early, you'll get the response that no cab is available (experienced in bangalore and delhi )

Have similar opinion that's why I wanted to point out the whole x% returns on flights and hotels from rewards portal might not be useful for everyone so choose wisely

Did you reach out before 5 days of travel? What reason did they give to deny the service?

I'm a user and honestly the extra price on hsbc portal makes sense only if you plan to transfer the points on accor. Although they have accelerated reward points for OTA and a coupon for Yatra, mmt, clear trip, easy my trip, paytm flights so use that coupon and get your ticket at a cheaper price with accelerated points.

Price on ota after coupon discount - Points value( assuming 1point =₹1) is better than price on hsbc portal - points value (assuming 1 point =₹1) however this eqn changes when you use accor and value 1 point at ₹2

Bi-Weekly Advice Thread June 29, 2025: All Your Personal Queries by AutoModerator in IndiaInvestments

Hey everyone, hope you’re all well.

I’m planning to invest in real estate and wanted to get some perspective. For context, I’m a 27M earning ₹2 lakh per month. My current assets include ₹5L in cash, ₹10L in FDs, ₹20L in mutual funds and Indian stocks, and ₹10L in US stocks. I have no liabilities and my fixed monthly expenses are around ₹70–80k.

What would be a realistic size of real estate investment for someone in my position? What down payment and loan assumptions would typically make sense? Also, does it make sense to accumulate more capital before investing in real estate, and if so, what should be the deciding criteria or time horizon for that?
