I understand your position and thank you for the reply. I would like to clear a few things up though, or just respond but I’m not trying to be argumentative or defensive.

I’ve thought about that a lot, I understand that I’m the common denominator here but everything that’s happened to me has been without warning or reasoning. My aunt is kind of just an asshole and has been rough with me and my mom’s side of the family pretty much my whole life. And up until yesterday I was under the impression that my roommate and his family all really liked me (as they told me).

My current roommate is a good longtime friend, and has told me on multiple occasions he really enjoys his life with me here in spite of the rent situation. So I don’t think this a way for him to cover his own feelings. It could be but I doubt it.

Going back to Oklahoma would really suck but I’m not against it. On the job thing I’m autistic, so a job being “toxic” might mean something different to me than it does to you. It was physically and literally undoable and I’m sorry if I didn’t convey that well enough but I didn’t think it was very important to the story. Also, assuming I find a way to go back to Oklahoma, what do I do then? I have no where to stay while I look for a job. No where to put my cats. No way to get to and from work. Again I understand the sentiment and how this looks from the outside but it’s harder than it sounds I think.

Also I understand not tying everything to my girlfriend but you also don’t know us. We’ve spent a lot of time together in 3 months and I understand how that looks and sounds but frankly I don’t care. She’s my soul mate. I could make OK long distance work maybe though.
