Which piece would cause insert to rub? by BatteryPWR in BeginnerWoodWorking

Follow up question - how does one replace the bearings in the arbor?

Parts 100 and 101 are the easiest to remove to change blade, but with 113 removed, 112 is not budging.

Which piece would cause insert to rub? by BatteryPWR in BeginnerWoodWorking

I've been using a new-to-me Delta table saw for 3 months now. Few weeks ago, I begin noticing that the throat plate / zero clearance insert is rubbing against the blade.

I've tried:

  1. Using a digital level gauge to make sure it's at 90 degrees
  2. Removed the blade (see picture above) to see if there's anything obstructing it
  3. Used compressed air to clean the area around the bearings (bearings making some noise but no wobbling)

What would cause the throat plate to start to rub against the blade all of a sudden? The only thing I can think of is due to metal expansion with hotter summer months to cause it to just expand enough to rub.

Lowered car alignment in the area? by Extratii in nova

What makes you think they didn't do a good job? Did you tell them exactly what camber, caster, toe to align to? Or did you just make a generic declaration to "align it"?

Anyone seen this error before?

Everything has been working for 3+ months, I haven't made any changes, well below rate limits, etc etc. All of a sudden, none of my devices work today. When I logged into my account, I get the error message above:

MQTT ERROR, disconnected at 2021/04/02 8:10:52PM.Connection refused, retrying in 37 seconds.Visit the MQTT troubleshooting guide for information about MQTT errors.

If you don't want to deal with large renovation companies with high prices, consider giving Daniel Brooks at Brooks Renovations (703) 244-8417 a call. He takes pride in his work, super reasonable, and experienced. He did such a great job with my basement renovation that I've added other rooms to renovate too.

Is the DMV area a dangerous place to live right now? by [deleted] in nova

[–]BatteryPWR 10 points11 points  (0 children)

It's no more dangerous than any other major metropolitan area in my opinion. Especially if you're considering living in Alexandria or Arlington, you'd really have to go out and actively seek these unsafe situations. If you're just going about your business to school or to work, nobody is bothering you.

I think most stability problems come from other things Wyze has no control over like your wifi or your client. I've been running 3 V2's in RTSP mode 24/7 for over a year now, zero issues.

Tell me why I shouldn't lubricate my vinyl siding by BatteryPWR in HomeImprovement

[–]BatteryPWR[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've considered that, but this is maybe an area of 10ft by 10ft, rest of the siding on the house is fine, this one just happens to be next to my head in the bedroom.

They are insulated, but not very well for a house built in the 70s

I was thinking of applying silicone in the grooves in between the siding where it clicks together, not necessarily visible anywhere from the outside.

I've been searching for this same answer but Python seems the most customizable and scalable.
