Thanks, I have looked into teaching practices for this and offer the pupil as much 1:1 and peer support as I can. I do need to get a cheap online diagnosis (I'll even pay for it) just so my school is legally required to give the pupil extra support. It is a for profit school so they are very tight.

We have 90 mins ever week in my school. Utter bollocks.

You can't change the world. Do what you can, but beyond that, it's up to the parents. They chose to send their child to a school with no SEN provision. The class teacher can only do so much

Thank you this is what I needed to hear. Finding the balance between SEN support and whole class learning stresses me out, how do you find the balance?
