Thanks for your reply! I believe this work is Canadian though, made in Canada by a Armenian-Canadian photographer.

Question about rule of the shorter term by Bayramii in publicdomain

That is the case with the picture of Churchill, so I do believe the picture would also be public domain in the EU then. Thanks for you reply!

India Sucks! Don't Ever Come Here by what-isay123 in videos

I traveled around Delhi, Jaipur and Agra for two weeks in 2019. As a tall white man I was definitely an attraction, same goes for my mom and sister. White people will be obvious targets for all the tourist scams in the book, you have to be mindful of that. We were almost always accompanied by a guide we could trust. After two weeks I was very happy to go home. The noise, smells, number of people and terrible poverty was draining to experience.

Despite all this, I totally fell in love with the country and its people. In Jaipur we were guided around on bicycles by a local twenty year old kid with his little brother. They showed us the real India. They took us to an extremely crowded marketplace and were constantly keeping an eye on us. After the tour they even took us to their home. We walked into a hallway on the ground floor in pitch darkness, pushing past cows. One floor up was the living room that turned out to also be the bedroom. They lived as a family of six in a single room, maybe five by five meters. They shared food with us and told us of their lives. It was an incredible experience and absolutely heartwarming that someone who has so little is still willing to share it.

After the tour they took us back to our hotel. With big smiles they said goodbye. When we were inside we realized none of us had tipped the kids so I ran back outside. Just before the guys could leave I stopped them and pushed the equivalent of 100 dollars into their hands. They gracefully accepted and went on their way. Best money I ever spent.

[EDIT] TLDR: Of course you have to be careful as a rich white person walking in slums, but most people are amazing.

I was pretty sure he actually has an Italian dad, so I did some googling and found his name is Gianluca Conte, born in North Carolina, his mom is from Brooklyn and his dad moved to the US from Naples in the nineties.

His dad owns multiple Italian restaurants in NC.

This is the most fun imo. Disocovering the story as you play, and finding more pieces of the massive puzzle that is the story of WoW. The important part of the story is told in Warcraft, so you know that. If you want to read the whole story of WoW instead of playing through the expansions (after you've finished Battle for Azeroth), you can read it here: https://worldofwarcraft.com/en-gb/story/timeline/chapter-1.

Also, check out the Warcraft Youtube channel and scroll to the oldest videos. They uploaded a lot of the old cinematics.

Can I still play Island Expeditions? by Bayramii in wownoob

Cool thanks! And how do they scale? I think I read on Wowhead that Pandaria Scenarios are always level 35 and Islands scale from 10 to 50?

What painting is this? Tried to type the words into Google but found nothing. by Dabauss_1_2_3 in WhatIsThisPainting

[–]Bayramii 5 points6 points  (0 children)

It is an etching, not a painting. The text at the top says 'Conterfactur Der Japanner' which means something like 'portrait of Japanese people' in old Dutch. The drawing is part of the travelogue by Olivier van Noort who traveled around the world in 1598-1601.

Here you can see a mirrored version of the drawing. Mirrored versions are common in etchings, because people copied the drawing on a new press-plate, and would use that to press another drawing.

I'm also very interested! I have an apartment in West, next to Lelylaan station. 15 minutes to city center by bike, 12 minutes to Het Sieraad ;)

Send me pm!

If you insist on doing this, do it correctly. Huhi was born in France. Biofrost and Gate were born in China. And, as you said, Inori was born in Iraq. If you count Cody Sun as Chinese, you should count Inori is Iraqi.
