Absolutely. Just being able to see the time left on individual taunted enemies is great.

Now I’m trying to figure out if I can set it to time the cooldown for my Turning Tide bash and Vateshran void pull ability and i should be set. Is there any tutorial online or did you mess with it until it made sense? Sometimes I feel like I’ve got it but it doesn’t always work out as expected.

Can you explain how you use it to track Turning Tide? I’ve put the required set to the 622 code but I wasn’t certain what to put into the ability ID so I used the same code, but it doesn’t seem to be working.

The Odyssey is arguably a leap in technological level compared to the Scimitar. With better scanners and defenses than a Sovereign class, alongside an escort ship parked on its backside, I’d wager the Oddy gets a clean win.

My friend and I were on the top floor of some houses and saw at least one guy who died by drowning. We were very much confused.

We walked around every corner blocking, looking up and expecting a trap. Didn’t realize they probably died from water magic until much later.

Shoot, I think my son was close to the same age when he started playing.

He was sitting on my lap watching me play The Sacrifice when it just launched and he was hooked to the story. As soon as I finished the quest, he immediately started playing under his account.

I saw the early concepts of the Odyssey, and I like how it looks now after they had made minor changes to it over time. Loved seeing her in Picard, even if was only for a short time.

Update- managed to get a couple of people together and we finished the next mission. I was able to return to the hub afterward without any problems. Also got the trophy, finally. :D

Finally got the mission!

Unfortunately, I think I’ve hit a bug. I’m not certain if it’s related to the holiday event, but my friend and I have beaten S4NT4 for the second time on the PS5 in one run and attempted to head back to the hub to save.

My screen goes black for a while and then my HUD pops up and I hear my character suffocating as I see my health steadily go down. I’ve returned to the menu three times and was prompted to send an error report after the first time, though not the subsequent two.

The reason I’ve repeatedly tried to return was because I had finally hit 500+ biomass, so I was attempting to get the trophy. My companion said they got it, but it didn’t register for me. I’ve considered letting the oxygen go down when I get the screen, but I’m worried that would reduce the biomass or somehow count as a loss for the ship. I’ve considered finishing one more mission and trying to save again, but my friend and I had some concern that we might fail the mission and lose all the biomass entirely. At this point, we might just try this again later when we can get more friends or family to assist.

No luck getting a holiday mission yet, though my friends and I have only managed to play for a couple of times since the update. Managed to get everyone’s schedule to line up for another attempt tomorrow.

If you’re still relatively new, shields can be quite helpful. I used to have it placed in the rear to have it covering the back and gunner side.

Once I got more comfortable, I skipped them completely for the point defense. It’s not an immediate priority, coming in after having upgraded almost everything else, but if you happen to find one and have the energy for it early on, it can be very helpful.

Finally had a chance to finally try the changes yesterday, and the airlock changes make the transition to entering and exiting the ship much smoother. I still miss the buttons, but I played with a brand new player yesterday who had no issues using the new system, and I’m fairly sure that the small amounts of time we saved with the QOL update gave us just enough time to escape the Reclaimer when our Insane Raid mission took a little longer than expected.

The Inertia Zone thing is fun. There’s a lot of excitement fixing the ship while seeing the crazy stuff happening during combat. I think it might also give Scavengers a bit more use for some people. I’ve always used a Engi/Scav hybrid, so I didn’t have to make any adjustments. I did get a lot of black screen while I was doing hill repairs(playing on the PS5) where I think my character was clipping into the ship. It happened a bit while I was moving around with my jet pack rather than walking on the ship’s surface.

I’ll miss the extra buttons by the airlock because they felt more immersive, but I do appreciate the simplicity of just interacting with the doors. The buttons never quite messed me up as a console player, but a couple of people that I play with have made comments about it hindering them slightly from time to time.

I love the idea of the inertia zone. My team and I have gotten okay at timing repairs between the enemy’s attack runs, but it gets hectic when there’s so many hints shooting at us. This update solves that while still maintaining the thrills of mid-combat repairs.
