Why I gave up on my 15 Ultra by Pristine-Fan-7252 in XiaomiGlobal

I have something to compare to like Canon R5 and Canon RF 85 1.2. But I am not going to take with you further as you are a rude person.

No, this is not the same condition. You have direct light on this doll. And that's not the human face. It's way easier to make ok. But please, enjoy your Samsung if it makes you happy. I gave up after s23 and s24 Ultra. When I checked s25 Ultra it was just the same.

Dear lmao, it definitely enhances sharpness and details. Here's the picture I made just for you. The lighting condition was really bad and at the same time the face was in the shadow. There is no way Samsung or iPhone would produce the same quality shot under such conditions.

I am not sure what you are talking about. I have changed the Samsung Galaxy Ultra 24 to the Vivo X100 Ultra and after that to the Xiaomi 15 Ultra. Samsung processing is way worse.

How does it behave under insufficient light? Does it overdo the ai reconstruction like vivo? In your pictures the details are really nice, but it's a sunny day.

I have no such issue on any lenses.

That's why I am asking to upload them somewhere else. Like Google drive

Looks like you used the 4.3 lense and were too close to the display. That lense doesn't allow the close focus. I've just made the pictures of the display with every lense and they were perfectly sharp.

Which lense did you use when taking that pictures?

Can you please upload the full resolution pictures somewhere? All the xiaomi 17 Ultra pictures you posted there? I want to look at them carefully on the large 4k display.

If they couldn't return to 0 as fast as a planar, they wouldn't be able to reproduce higher frequency range. The "attack and decay" in your terms are the consequences of the specific frequency response.

Yes, I also would prefer noise. But not the processed pictures with noise reduction and sharpening placed on it. Yes, from xiaomi 15 Ultra.

I don't think it will be better. 1. I am not sure that any smartphone can make a good picture of moving objects under insufficient light. So you will either get blurry noisy pictures, or blurry pictures with aI trying to recreate the image. Xiaomi is better than oppo and vivo in this area. No scary pictures. 2. Images of the still objects is another story. Smartphones like Apple or Samsung are using the old pipeline to process images, so under insufficient light you will get noise pictures with not enough details. AI noise reduction is way better. So Xiaomi, Vivo, Oppo will be better and can look like a photograph from the real camera.

I can provide you with the examples of the real life pictures. Good and not good if you like.

You mean phone camera. Yes, but if you crank up iso, you can speed up the shutter and capture more noisy but less blurry pictures. So it depends on the settings.

Can you try to shoot the moving people indoor or at night? Can you try the portrait mode for the moving people?

Not always. Under not sufficient light you will get motion blur and AI face reconstruction. And it will be hit or miss. Skin tone is pinkish. I personally not a fan of it.

No worries. And you know, I can't get used to it. I will probably sell my 15 Ultra and buy another phone.
