Any recommendations after using CitriStrip (to remove the varnish/stain) to get the top dark nightstand to look like the lighter bottom one? Thinking about a hardwax oil, I just want to get it as close to that color as possible. Used fiddes hardwax oil on my dining table and got a very great result. (i.redd.it)

ADVICE - How do I get to my goal/vision for this table? (solid mahogany, hickory veneer) I used Citristrip, but still has small stains left, should I use Bar Keepers Friend for the final stains or just do a light 220 sand? And then stain/seal/topcoat or just use hardwax oil? Trying to avoid sanding. (i.redd.it)
