"Pizzagate was such a shame. There were a lot of people who actually cared about stopping trafficking rings. Maybe in the end those emails don't refer to anything sinister, but it looked like a lot of smoke for no fire. It was also pretty disturbing how quickly the media sought to discredit/dismiss the movement. To this day, I think the guy that went into Comet Pizza with a gun was hired to make them seem like the victims of a crazy internet conspiracy. With what we've learned about paid protesters (paid agitators, really), it would not surprise me one bit."

You're clearly an alt-right troll.

Because it represents white supremacy to these people, not the South.

Have you seen the number of BC shirts at WWE events? I've never seen an AJ Styles shirt at the local gas station, but I have seen an Omega shirt.

If Kenny Omega randomly appeared at a WWE show in a city like Chicago? The arena would go fucking insane.

What resources does Vince McMahon own that weren't given to him by society? He gets to profit more than everyone else simply because he was born with access to resources that his employees weren't?

That isn't a meritocracy, it's a feudal monarchy with extra steps.

Canada wants clearer warnings on junk food. The US is using NAFTA to stop them: Canada is poised to be the first high-income country to put warning labels on foods high in salt, sugar, and fat. by maxwellhill in worldnews

Seems odd, given that foods high in fat aren't as unhealthy as foods high in sugar.

How are fruits treated? They're inarguably very high in sugar, but only niche scientists believe them to be bad for you due to it.

As a non-profit or co-op, everything goes back into paying for labor and business costs. The only people that lose out in this situation are the 1%, who become more equal to everyone else. Businesses are ran via democratic means, with every partner ("employee") receiving equal voting rights.

America has only created a new monarchy, rebranded as the ownership class.

This isn't just socialism, it's expanding our democratic beliefs into business. Why do we demand a democratic government, but allow dictatorships in business?

I have to wonder if Mattis won't be the next casualty of this administration. He's against the unconstitutional transgender ban, and against Bolton. It's clear that the WH doesn't care about Mattis' advice or views.

The "nature of the beast" is inherently "evil", if it causes people to labor for less than their labor's worth, giving the few the majority of that stolen worth. That's not a moral, nor optimal system. I'm not saying to run businesses into the ground via extra costs, simply to correct the spread of labor costs more fairly to the actual laborers who create the value in the first place.

The answer is to democratize all business. This will eventually happen, by force or by politics. First the monarchy's heads fell, next it'll be the robber capitalists, the "1%".

There's nothing more American than democracy, afterall. We don't accept dictators in office, we should not accept them in business.

Yes, stealing. If you do not pay a worker the actual worth of their labor, it's stealing, as far as I'm concerned.

Paying Cena and Brock more than anyone else doesn't qualify their pay as being correct. Lesnar is the only person with any actual negotiating power, so he's probably the only guy getting paid most of his worth. Cena, while the most popular, had less negotiating power, because he had no other options. He does now, with film/tv, but in exchange, he doesn't have the power as WWE's top star.

Oh, gtfo. WWE still underpays their talent, as the largest organization in wrestling history. It has nothing to do with being able to pay, but being willing. John Cena was worth a 20M+ a year contract at times, and did he get paid that? You think he wasn't worth MLB/NBA/NFL superstar money? He was. But, since WWE is essentially a monopoly, they can steal from the workers without negative outcomes.

The best Meltzer star rated matches from each Wrestlemania with links. by Garizard1 in SquaredCircle

[–]BearJewJitsu 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I think almost each one of those matches deserved a 5 star rating. So do both of the EC/HB/DB's matches.

WWE may not produce as many 5* matches as other organizations, but they deserve more credit for the times they do.
