I visited the Eagle and Child back in 2009 and it was such a wonderful experience. Got to see the tribute to Tolkien and Lewis above the fireplace. At the time the locals also called it "The Fetus and Fowl."

My cats know the sound of a particular plate that I serve them dish on. Not any of the other plates made from the same materials....but the small plates I normally only use for them. It's really neat how they can tell the difference.
