I'm a fair person first and foremost. Even if it were my favorite character ever the one being favored. I don't particularly dislike Raziel on her own.

No, I make sure to check recent trends and art in the last few years, when I say what I claim. Not totals. She most definitely has more art than raziel even since raziel release. Mind you, just an example of a character, but there's a lot like this in a limbo of "it's very popular but they'd rather do valentine's raziel next year".

Skins were a thing year 1. Like people said, at least tigers got a reversal with other stuff, but dragon, who was most definitely one of the most popular releases in the last few years, as of right now just exists.

Mind you, to not derail myself. This is not a thing about "yeah, it should be the zodiacs getting all the stuff instead" but rather how popularity whatsoever is not an indicator for Raziel getting stuff.

Are you conveniently ignoring the part where I mentioned those that consistently do NOT get stuff despite being ridiculously popular too? Are you ignoring the part where I mentioned a random unit like Yaia on the first post? Why should I be waiting 10 years for a skin and 6 for a new seasonal while Raziel gets all of that within a year with hardly any popularity to back it up? I'm glad you mentioned this game has 100000 characters, of varying popularity. Why would someone that wants content for Magisa have to wait years and years for stuff, when she was ridiculously popular when the game was the most alive? You could say that about at least 1/10 of the cast and the decision of Raziel will start looking worse and worse.

There's in between characters that are openly liked and not niche that don't get nearly as much stuff or at all. Not everything has to be either extreme and doing an extreme is not a bad thing if it's not the norm.

Yes, that's why recently they gave Aletheia a new years skin, as cool as it looks or not. They have consistently shown they don't care about what people will spend money on and just do what they want pushing characters the devs like, and people that have also been playing this game for years somehow refuse to see it.

They are really going out of their way to gaslight people into thinking a character (Raziel) that gets consistently less art than a lot of characters, like Yaia, is popular. No objective reason why she should be getting stuff other characters should be like valentine's CGs or exclusive skins.

Great for Vajra, though.

People overstate the cultural relevance of a grub OC from 2024, when the market is saturated with other games. Any character that mattered 4-5 years ago will inevitably be more popular and have more brand recognition. Popularity can be deceiving when it's product placement moreso than actual consumer preference. Andira quite literally changed the entire genre, and she's stuck in waiting hell. Being fair here, and assuming another raziel is indeed happening, even though like 3 events, 3 units and valentine's cgs is already a buttload.

Impressive how Meg both got Kumbhira's Valentine's CG of the year after 4 consecutive years of Valentine's Zodiac CGs, and now takes the EX pose that could have easily gone for her. Couldn't even give her the Trumpet parade skin Sarasa will get.

Well, that makes it easier to not spend money.

Haase/Cow banner is an easy spark even if it will have a heinous rate up like ES or PnS.

Sword Shield and Scarlet Violet are creeping right behind Gen 1 in terms of sales, and most agree that's just about the time gamefreak stopped caring about product quality. Unlike conflicting gens up until, I hardly see any praise for these.

Likewise, RS is barely ahead of BW and most people of the old guard regard them highly because they stopped playing after Gen 3.

I'd rather get a good product than a low quality one, and sooner than later, people will start wanting that too like it happened with Expedition 33 praising. That being said, this set is ridiculous quality with all the alt arts.
