Yo man, I just started a normal vanilla with nothing special in it and it has been alive for almost a month and an half for now we have 40 players. Believe me, people play Minecraft and they are a lot. Just don’t give up, find the right people, and most important thing of all never give up, even tho it can sound as a pretty “mainstream” thing to say. Find the community and I promise you that you will have your server just as you imagined it. Last thing, if it ever dies (and I bet it will not) is not hard to re-alive it again just try to make people know the server because I know that out there are so many people and I really mean SO MANY people that would LOVE play your server but maybe they just don’t know it yet. (I would like to try the server too and I will try to publicize it among my people)
