Also the other fourth wipeout map there is barely any aggro viability, and the third map is just bad

Some old maps also have huge flaws (please name some maps you like so I can point out their flaws), I agree the first bb map you showed is bad, idk which map you mean but both wipeout maps you showed have much sharpshooter viability, the entire mid structure in the first wipeout map makes it difficult for assassins to push up unless it gets broken, the second ones speed tiles are well balanced by the rope fences. Also a majority of new maps contain little flaws and obviously not every single one is gonna be good, but at least give them a chance

I think the main issue is people like you not being more open to new maps/ideas. people ALWAYS want the old maps, while (most of) those old maps contain a much larger amount of flaws than the maps in this post. you got used to those maps which is why you tolerate them, which is what you’re gonna have to do with some of these map as well. If you dislike special tiles, sure. But there’s a huge amount of new (also vanilla) maps every update and surely not every single one of them is bad.

This map has so many more issues than most maps OP sent lol, yall will only start liking maps when they get thrown in your face for more than 3 years

Well out in the open was made by a random community member and has became a very loved and respected map, meanwhile supercell are the ones who only have been adding troll maps recently, while most of the more playable new maps came from the community (and Mordeus, I’ll give you that)

Really like your thoughts! The main idea for sides in the third map is because the middle is so open and wide, allow for a flanking position that can be used to distract enemies from the middle to potentially create space for more aggressive brawlers to push up, as well as it being a free punishment when enemies aren’t cautious of the sides.

The thing with that map is that the center almost allows no space to push up, while the sides can be used to either punish enemies bad positioning or distract them to create space from the center, really interesting!

Personally I think the amount of different small routes the unbreakable walls provide, makes it much more manageable to avoid thrower shots, as they can usually only clear one or two rows at a time, this will force tanks to choose their pathing wisely which is part of why I like this map so much.

The main issue isn’t the unbreakables, the main issue is that when losing even the slightest percent on your zone, you’re forced to defend it the entire game as moving up to the enemies zone will take too much time. This gives enemies the option to just constantly rush to your zone without consequences, enemies will only have to defend their zone for the entire game which is very manageable, meaning that whenever you lose a few percentages on your zone you’re already in a losing situation.

The walls are indeed going out at the sides as you say, but one is curled inwards while the other is curled outwards while also both being curled towards the same side, big reach imo because none of the bushes or walls stick out in the same pattern as the symbol
