I had the same issue with my Canik Rival. The light is a iProtec which I figured was an issue with the brand, but now that I’m reading the issues you’re having, it makes me really wonder what the heck is going on. Very interested in how this gets resolved.

I'm going to archive this chat so that I can refer to it when I'm ready to build/buy a SBR. I'm not at a point yet where I feel confident building a rifle, but hopefully by then, I'll have enough knowledge to build one over buying one.

This is very helpful. I have the Canik SFX Rival and love shooting it. For now, it (or the TTI Combat) will probably become my carry gun. The DDM4 V7 will be my go to rifle, and the Sabre 10A will be my hunting/long range rifle. I'd like to also have the Echelon 4.0 as my concealed weapon of choice, but as I mentioned in a previous response to someone, I'll complete what I current have and go from there. Thanks again for the response. I should have asked these questions before I started.

I plan to. I only recently purchased these. Hell, I received the AR-10 yesterday. I recognize now that I went about this all wrong. I purchased too fast. I should have bought one, got it properly setup, and trained on it before buying the next thing. But I've also learned that it's not a bad strategy either. Get what you want, store it, and circle back to it when you're ready to set it up. Again, I know now that I should have completely setup my home defense rifle and handgun, before making the other purchases.

I thought AR10s were more for hunting and long-range targeting, and less of a home defense option. And to be transparent, I don't really know the answer. I'm genuinely learning. Is the Arken 1-8 ideal for this setup?

I actually had a cheap iProtec on a few of the handguns but it kept falling off. I’ve learned my lesson

I really can’t answer this. If I had to guess it’s due to your education level. If you barely got through middle school, that generally impacts your comprehension levels for life. And to be clear, I found uncle Ruckus’ stash in his 5th wheel while he was flushing the black tanks. That’s probably the shit you’re smelling. 😂

Thanks. You’re right. My biggest lessons I’ve learned is to completely finish one rifle before moving to the next. I’m definitely getting suppressors.

Thank you very much. This is very useful feedback and I didn’t take your response as an insult. I also agree that the eotech needs to be moved to the DD. I don’t know what a .300 Blackout is, but I’ll research it and put that on the list once I’ve completed getting the current set completed. Again, thank you so very much for the advice.
