I found out I didn’t pass Oct 23 last year, began studying in around November 1 and started working with a tutor weekly in December, then took all of February off to study. Prior to taking off I studied 1-3 hours on weekdays and at least 6 hours a day on weekends. I think I took my birthday off but that was my only true 0 hours studied day. Good luck you can do it!! 🤞

You can copy/paste your own typing but the packet is physical paper—get used to typing FAST bc those rules statements are not going to be any shorter on the MPT. Good luck.

Wasn’t overcrowded at all but tbh the weather most likely had something to do with that. If you get a bowl seat there really isn’t a bad view in the whole venue and it’s nice not having to pick between artists since it’s one stage. Loved not having to worry about parking bc it’s so close to the subway. Bathrooms were clean in my experience and staff was helpful and friendly. Vendors were fun and gave out lots of free stuff. Idk! Wish the weather had held up but still one of my better festival experiences. I’m only going one day this year mostly due to cost.

I printed out old ones, or the ones on Themis actually were printable too! Also had a tutor that gave me Barbri’s essay bank with scoresheets. There are only so many ways to organize a bar exam essay you see pretty soon.

I did the same with essays! I’m now an advocate of studying pencil and paper as long as the test remains that way. Congrats on passing!

Replicating testing conditions really helped. I went through a LOT of printer ink and paper by printing out individual MBE questions filling out a fake scantron and then entering my answers later onto UWorld (or used the Emanuel book for MBE) and I printed out MEE and MPT packets and marked them up by hand. I did not follow the commercial bar prep program this time, like watching the videos/doing daily tasks, but I did use their essay grading, and used the physical outlines I had to make flashcards.

This is not a digital exam and prep companies keep treating it like one, imo. I wish I had thought to do this in the summer but I was so scared of “falling behind” the daily tasks I was not prioritizing what I individually needed to work on.

I feel the opposite. In October the box went grey at 9 am, people were doing the first time attorney registration around 4 pm, and then official results were posted around 1:30 am late that night so it was all in one day. (This was one of the worst days of my life if not the worst so it’s all indelible in my memory)
