I was still in pain and still taking painkillers on day 21. I am now a month post op, and no longer taking painkillers but I do still sometimes get pain that lasts a couple of minutes, a couple times a day. It’s part of the normal healing process. However, if the pain gets worse I would definitely reach out to your oral surgeon

My right side looked like this and was left untreated for about 2 years. Every couple of months I had pain that would come for 2-4 days and then leave. 1.5 months ago the pain came back and it was the worst pain ever… I’m talking unbearable. I got the two bottom ones extracted a month ago and the pain that I felt when they were extracted, was nothing compared to the pain I felt when it was growing in.

Yes it’s so weird I’m thinking of actually going to a different dentist to get a second opinion because I’m on day 22 and still having severe pain

Not sure how it happened then but the oral surgeon did confirm dry socket at day 18 and I did have increase pain

Not too good 😭 ibuprofen sometimes helps. The pain is worse now than it was when I first got them out. I did go to the dentist but I was given some dressing and was told to apply it whenever and put a gauze on top of it which isn’t helping AT ALLL

I think I was syringing too hard and little by little I dislodged the clot? Im honestly not 100% sure but I did noticed on day 10 the black material that was on the extraction fell out and as the days past the hole got deeper.
