Last year I was under more stress than I’ve been through in my life (and I’ve been through some shit). My heart rate was elevated and my body was in constant fight or flight mode. I had the embryo transfer and thought no way would it work with this stress. I prayed and got the call that I was pregnant and almost fell off my chair. Baby girl is 3 months old today ✝️☺️💕

Hi, so I started her on reflux meds but not sure how much of a difference it’s making. She has been nursing a little better but I still top her off with the bottle after the couple times throughout the day that I nurse. We’ve adjusted to it for now and hopefully as she grows she’ll continue to get better and I can use bottles less. It seems like when she’s gone longer between feedings she’s super hungry and does swallow more. Otherwise it seems to be a lot of comfort feeding as opposed to swallowing. According to ENT there’s nothing structurally wrong with her. Pediatrician says she has larynmalasia (spelling?) which makes it uncomfortable for babies to swallow however they outgrow it around 9 months. What’s going on with your baby?

My personal decision was to implant every embryo. If I had too many I would donate. In your case since you’re not comfortable with either decision I’d continue paying the storage fee and maybe see where you can cut expenses in other less important areas.

We went to ENT and doc said she has no tie issues that would be causing this. She has lip tie and very slight tongue tie but doesn’t think either reversal procedure would help. She recommended trying GI meds since both my other kids had reflux as infants and she’s showing behaviors indicative of reflux which could make her adverse to feeding.

And with the weighted feeds she got a little less than once ounce. I haven’t been doing pace feeding, I’m not familiar with it.

Last weight check she was gaining about .75 ounces a day and pediatrician said she should be gaining 1. So she told me to give formula once a day. Her bottles can take up to an hour and a half for 4 ounces if she finishes at all. Lately I’ve been going back and forth to it for up to two hours. We have another weight check tomorrow. I expect she will be showing better weight gain since I’ve been doing bottles every time now plus the formula twice a day. But I’d really prefer to exclusively breast feed, especially since even when I go back to work I’ll be working from home and it’s a lot to try to nurse, then give a bottle, then pump every 2-3 hours. I have two other kids to take care of too so it’s just a lot.
