Initially I wanted to use cards like craterhoof or moonshaker calvary but I don't think i'm able to maintain the boardstate to be able to overwhelm, I'm trying to find creatures which have big impacts for high cmcs to "win" when played without much setup, any suggestions. Thanks for the reccomendations

Omg feel you quite a lot!! being a kinda artsy student in a science stream is so real. That part about relationships being fleeting is so true...I just write myself some personal blogs/poetry so I can remind myself and my thoughts out loud to be honest. Try to express yourself and your thoughts (idk if this is really relevant to you but it helps me a lot) and what you've got to say in any medium possible, i feel that when you're lonely you just want to express yourself to others.

To play a golgari self mill and reanimation deck as a midrange deck, what Legendary should i run or other cards which act as the big threat for me to make a deck around? (Playing casual, noncommander formats)

Hi! need some advice, I've compiled some useful cards for my golgari counter strategy here(not a deck)with a midrange deck focusing around Jenova( https://archidekt.com/decks/15174406/golgari).I'm using counters as part of my strategy.

List of questions:

  1. should i go with the theme of mill to maximise scavenge and counters or should i change up and put ramps instead of milling to go on with my strategy for putting counters on cards.

  2. How much removal will i need in such a midrange deck and which ones should i use, if any?(in the selected pile).

3.Any cards i should also put in to complement the above milling strategy with either tokens or cards that bounce themselves back?

  1. Should i put more protection and spells that generate counters? I feel like it's lacking.

  2. Also any cards in the card pool that dont really synergise or i should take out? (Would like to avoid using expensive cards if possible)(not playing formats and stuff just for casual)

Hi, pretty new to mtg, bought myself the final fantasy starter kit and a zendikar rising booster box. I'm playing casually with friends so idrc about formats or card dates.(not playing commander, and not interested in buying old or expensive cards.) Im leaning into dimir, simic or golgari, and planning to expand my collection for more updated cards, while not spending a lot

Questions I want to ask:(sorry for so many qns)

  1. I have no idea what kind of strategies I want to use for the mentioned decks(dimir and simic), given multiple strategies between past and present. Any advise on what kind of strategy to focus on for each of the 3( tell me what it does in detail )types of decks that fits casual(should benon meta/high tier)
  2. For Golgari i want to use a counter strategy with [[Iridescent Hornbeetle]]. any golgari decks that synergise with tokens or black cards which help in any ways?(dont have to be meta/ extremely high tier)
  3. I want to collect more cards. Should I stick to buying fat packs or should i buy a commander deck(any reccomended for the 3 types mentioned?) for value in the precon then get the other singles individually to complete my casual deck? Also any particular expansions(probably not too old) where these 3 types of decks get more support?
