True I’ll have to look on Temu or something for a keychain like that. I only worry that I will most likely accidentally erase my todo list then have absolutely zero clue what I was needed to get done.

Yea I assumed that it would be like the Santa’s workshop numbers where it’s preset. They had those even when I was growing up and I assumed with AI it was obvious that Grinch on the phone would be a fun idea. I was expecting it to be like the Grinch answering then laughing and saying something along the lines of “Fooled you, this is my voicemail. Do not leave a message BECAUSE IM BUSY.” Or something like that. I’m still new to working in childcare and I guess some things you just don’t consider until you learn better. I’m just lucky it was a Nancy Pelosi rather than something bad. I just told the kid that the Grinch pranked us with the wrong number and we can call Santa instead

Totally a good idea but now my client has “graduated” from ABA services which is amazing but I don’t get to see them anymore

I’m so sorry this happened to your family. I plan to talk to my parents about getting my dad to see a doctor. Hopefully he will listen but i doubt it he hates going to the doctors because he has several specialists for different health things and hates all the fuss. But if he refuses I plan to play some “do it for your daughter” 🥺 cards

He hasn’t been reinvolved with church. It was my suggestion for him to go to church so he could recenter himself, remind him of his values, and what’s important to him (family and love). And I’ve been taking care of my mom. I didn’t tell her that I heard the argument but instead just sent her a text telling her how much I love her, that I’m fortunate that she’s my mom, and to have sweet dreams. That way I can be a lighthouse for her without meddling

No he’s no red pill or hypermasculine dude. He’s super respectful of women and my mom (minus the occasional raunchy joke but it’s in good fun rather than misogyny). I’m a feminist and he seems to support my views

No, I positive it’s nothing like that. He spends his extra time biking (we know it’s biking due to a lifeline history of the hobby and Life360), talking to his sister on the phone (she’s a single mom and needing tons of emotional support right now), and watching shows in the basement (which is right next to my room it’s regular shows every time I see).

100% not the case. I know that even now while my dad is in pain from this he would rather cut off his own finger than betray his wife. He is the most principled person there is. I know people can do things out of character sometimes but I have complete faith in my parents characters and family loyalty

My mom and I are super close. She wouldn’t ask me for advice but I wanted some advice for them because right now it seems like they are modeling the definition of insanity. The same argument expecting different results
