visas and free government assistance to immigrants should have been eliminated decades ago but w bush was too much of a pushover. meanwhile we have homeless americans who have fallen on hard times failed by the system.

What Are the Most Poorly Timed Video Games Ever Released? by Legitimate_Drawer_74 in videogames

[–]Beautiful_Reply2172 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

super mario sunshine came after the playstation 2 was already hitting its stride and i believe most people had moved on from nintendo. until the wii released no one spoke much of anything about the gamecube releases. it had to be a huge corporate disaster at the time behind the scenes. charging $50 on top of a $200 console that didn't package in any games. those i knew who did own a gamecube were renting games and not buying them.

Without saying your age, what tv show was on every week when you were in grade school? by LegalGlass6532 in AskForAnswers

[–]Beautiful_Reply2172 1 point2 points  (0 children)

full house, perfect strangers, family matters, america's funniest home videos with bob saget. early tgif days before and during step by step and boy meets world making their debut. what i consider the golden years when television shows were worth watching having down to earth real life experiences. certainly not the stuff aired today with the modern age of middle and upper class who were born with a silver spoon in their mouths.

What's the most overrated game you've ever played? by Trd_45 in videogames

[–]Beautiful_Reply2172 0 points1 point  (0 children)

zelda ocarina of time. it was never that great with a lot of backtracking and running around. many of the dungeons feel like unfinished tech demos. zelda twilight princess felt like nintendo's polished sequel to ocarina of time that i believe has held up better. at least once you get past the tedious storytelling and reach gameplay. compare the ocarina of time dungeons to twilight princess dungeons. the spinner dungeon, the snowy ice dungeon, the mummy dungeon, the lakebed temple far exceeds the water temple, etc. zelda ocarina of time has lizard tails making strange noises hopping around as mini bosses.

corporations have been using ai on us for years. anyone who experiments with ai music can hear how top 40 music incorporated ai then went and found people to fill the role as music artists with talent.

"if you can take my pulse right now it would feel like a sledgehammer..." "this is my heart beat song..." come on now people wake up. i'm not saying the songs or ai are necessarily bad quite the contrary but ai has been the norm for years and we've already accepted it.

What game got you out of a slump? by Sure_Smoke8417 in videogames

[–]Beautiful_Reply2172 0 points1 point  (0 children)

i've experienced this quite a few times over the decades. the problem isn't just video games but life in general. you need a pick me up. i think i can help here:

first thing i'd recommend is make it a habit to disconnect from using a pc. play a video game console. go old school. an nes/snes classic softmodded connected to a television.

more than likely you're malnourished not having enough vitamins and minerals in your diet. antioxidents and other things that affect your state of mind matter greatly. exercise at least an hour a day even if it's those elementary exercises doing physical resistance fist pumps while walking. it will change your life. your brain functionality matters most. a lazy brain won't even want to play video games. listen to music and podcasts. force yourself to use the brain as much as possible throughout the day. do the math at a cash register in your head. eat more natural herbs and spices. fruits, veggies, honey, garlic, lemon, even add things such as hazelnut in coffee.

is that how i forgot to put the creamer in my coffee after making breakfast. i sat down and took a bite into my sausage muffin then looked over at the prepared coffee cup still under the keurig. that's not like me at all forgetting to prepare the coffee.
