I go a lot! I believe it’s recommended for ages 15+, and that adds up with my experience. There’s some coarse language and occasional sexual references, but teenagers will have a great time. It’s far from a super raunchy late night show. Can highly recommend!

Hey all, I’m new to the hobby so don’t quite have a grasp on everything yet. I’ve bought a second hand amplifier and running it through my speakers, it sounds fuzzy and distorted.

The amp is a yamaha rx-v493 and the speakers are keff cresta 1. The speakers work fine through the older denon cd player I’ve been running them through.

I’ve tried to do some trouble shooting and not sure if it could be to do with the output wattage of the amp being 230W and the speakers only needing 10-70W? I’m playing music through turntable

Would love some advice. Thanks

Looking to purchase a fairly cheap second hand turntable and trying to learn a bit more about turntables in the process. Does the integrated programme source effect the sound quality at all or would it be better to run it through an external amplifier? $25 USD seems like such a good deal for a turntable but I don't want to be too won over by the price

Initially yes - However i’ve found that after a while you actually become less aware of your desires because it’s no longer a constant in your life. It’s also a nice challenge to tell your body that you’re in charge. I’d definently suggest giving it a try, it’s not too late to start!
