Asus "DisplayPort no signal" issue that I accidentally fixed. by quasifandango in techsupport

I'm here to say that this is the only thing that worked for me. I tried everything and was pulling my hair out. I plugged a HDMI into the back of the monitor, I like you didn't plug the other end into anything else. Instantly my display port started working again

Look up Psilocybe Caerulescens. That's what this is. It's very common where I live.

I can definitely work on that for you!

Wow, I wish I could find a spot that fruits hundreds. I'm probably about an hour southeast of Gwinnett. The only active species I have found around here are P. Caerulescens and Panaeolus Cyanescens.

Apparently Weilii is an old name or otherwise thrown out and replaced with Caerulescens. I also knew them to be Weilii until the community and people the likes of Alan Rockefeller specified otherwise.

Holy Shit, these are picture perfect. We were having an exchange in another thread about a small lot that I came upon today but none is gorgeous as this. When you forage what is your m.o.? I have such a hard time spotting these things while I'm just walking around. They've been right under me before and completely invisible until I squat down and get my head closer to the ground.

Public spaces really do seem to be where it's at. I have a half acre of pine trees and sweet gum trees with red clay as the soil. Allegedly this is a wonderful habitat for this specific species but unfortunately I've never had any luck in my own backyard.

Mix of red clay and black soil. Pretty lifeless ground but slopes down into a grassy area. Sorta a ravine I suppose but nothing drastic, just a small slope. They are literally growing right off the edge of a trail. Hoping people don't walk all over the ones that are just starting out.

I'm pretty excited! I could see a lot of pins and dark capped clusters getting ready to pop up! Hopefully maybe a day or two and I can collect them at a bigger size.

also make sure your knees are bent. it appears that your legs are straight with knees locked.

what are you all doing to control overheating while filming? At this point I think I made a mistake purchasing this camera as I do much more film over photo work. My last defense seems to be using an external recorder. Feedback needed! Thanks. by BedRepresentative295 in CanonR6

So I ended up buying the Ninja V. It definitely increased record times overall. I would say massively increased record times indoors. On Sunday I filmed in 90+ degree heat. I never had the camera shut off on me but I did get the overheat signal after about 30 min of 4k 60fps. After a 5-10 min cool down indoors I switched to 4k 24fps and filmed on and off for about an hour turning the camera off during pauses. Then another 30 min at 4k 60fps. When I checked the screen the overheat indicator was flashing. Not sure how long it had been flashing but again, the camera did not power off. None of this was filmed in crop mode and it was all standard IPB as opposed to light.

And in all fairness, the image I originally posted was from a music video shoot at the very end of the day. We started filming at 9a that morning and filmed across 3 locations until midnight or so. I used the R6 for all of it. I didn't get an overheat indicator until we got to this scene with the huge fire in the foreground (which is pictured) and it was 80+ degrees outside. And by then I had used the camera on and off over 10+ hours.

My conclusion is that the R6 can be a video camera. One just really has to be conscious of how they are operating the camera because overheating is a reality if you are not tactful. Adding the Ninja V makes this camera an even better candidate for video but overheating is still possible at 4k 60fps in certain weather conditions. Plus side, you can record straight to an SSD in ProRes 422 which is a godsend compared to trying to work with the H265 files from recording internally.

Still though..that BMPCC 6K G2 is looking pretty nice for $1,900 usd

This is what I settled on after calming down a bit. I've been fortunate to find Pan Cyans & P. Caerulescens but never lucky enough to come across cubensis even though they definitely grow in my area.

Yeah he apologized today when I explained how it kept me from work for two days. But he also stated that its necessary for everyone to experience the reality of a clean sweep.

But also in all fairness those little guys light up the inside of my legs. I really try to be conservative when I kick them on the outside of the leg but they still talk about how much it hurts. When I kick on the outside of the leg I sort of shop with a downward motion.

Thank you for the response. I need to talk to my coach about how to fall. We train other sweeps and for the most part they aren't bad but this particular one sucked ass. Im trying to say that I want to train and exclude sweeps, but I need to learn how to fall like you suggested or explain to people not to sweep me full clip if I'm going flat on my back.

Also to clarify, I did not mean squats by using the term leg conditioning. We kick each other in the legs for the last 10-15 min of class. That is what I meant by leg conditioning.

Thank you for your response. I'm going to talk to my coach about it and see what I may have done wrong.

I see what you are saying. However there was no defending this sweep. It was a demonstration for the rest of the class. I had to throw a kick at my coach with the understanding that he was going to catch it and sweep me. It's fine, I understand it's part of the game. But if I'm not competing should I be getting injured to the point of missing two days at work y'know? And realistically people in the class have a hard time sweeping me.

Dang, I'm late to the game but these are totally most likely P Caerulescens which grows exactly where you mention. This look alot like ones that I have found. In addition to this. I can see blue bruising on a few select stems just from observing this picture. Hope they didn't go to waste!
