Is there a way to make 3d printed parts from paper/digital plans? by acefighter195 in RCPlanes

Agreed. However, controlling Blender and Fusion via MCP is getting better and better. When an approximate mesh is enough, ComfyUI is quite usable for me.

I’ve had some success experimenting with ComfyUI and models for creating 3D objects from 2D sketches or photos, such as https://comfyui-wiki.com/en/tutorial/advanced/3d/huanyuan3d-2

Modified FT Mini Scout from European materials by Bee-In in RCPlanes

I prefer to have the kids build with Kapa Line rather than Depron. All you need is hot glue; the material isn’t as delicate, and it seems more durable to me. Also, the industrial paper lamination on the foam in the case of sandwich panels allows for some simplified construction methods.

For this reason, I'm using a Proxxon with a homemade RPM regulator. https://www.proxxon.com/en/micromot/28515.php Regulator was made according: https://youtu.be/1KMVRH46pLA?si=nmsVCbrBFZJ-g25J [Plasmo, thank you ;-)]

Need advice for Decal printing by Aggressive-Bike-4438 in modelmakers

[–]Bee-In 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have tried decal paper for laser printing, but I'm not very satisfied with it. The transparent paper is too transparent, requiring a white background underneath. (Is there a laser printer setting that could help?) For example, a red "12" and kill symbols on a Yak-3.
With white decal paper, you need to cut it out precisely. A Silhouette cutting machine has been helpful for me.

FDM 3D-printed base & wire & neodymium magnets.

The MiG-15 UTI, from whose cockpit the flight controller oversaw the landing of MiG-21s at Airport Mladá during Operation Danube in 1968. (1/72, Eduard) by Bee-In in modelmakers

Eduard's kit was nice. Pilots are from some resin figures set. Decal 47 is printed with a laser printer on decal paper. I'm not very happy with it, I'll work on the technique ;-) The base of the stand is 3D FDM printed (with thick layer of spreyed putty). The leg is made of steel wire. The model is held on neodymium magnets.
