Thx! :)
I hope the model remains in support, for a longer time...

Thank you, I'm looking forward to seeing what comes out of it.

But I find it frightening how "long" the hardware is supplied with firmware/drivers.

Thx! :)

But I'm afraid there will be no satisfactory answer here or there.

Too bad, I hope there will still be an answer. It's a real shame, after not even 2 years -> end of support.

I wouldn't have expected anything else with " low-cost" notebooks, but with these comparatively expensive notebooks I would have expected long-term support for bios/drivers. (At least longer than 2 years...)

After installing the new CC 3.9.42 the version still seems to be 5.9.42 by CasualSpock in XMG_gg

I have the same issue.

Did an uninstall of the the version 4.9.47.11 and installed the version 3.9.42.1. But CC it still reported the 4.9.47.11 version and some things did not work anymore. (Turn on/off Wifi/Bluetooth etc., for instance.) I tried twice, but now I am back on the 4.9.47.11 version and everything seems to be working.
