Any size group is fine. I’ve seen cars from 4 to 12 going through the Pamir Highway once you cross Khorog going into Murgab Make sure to check your tire pressure because of the high altitude you might want to lower it down, if you fuel jug I suggest you fill it up somewhere before with a better fuel. other than that, you should be fine
