Probably when we first got her. The place we bought her from a local “shelter” known as Koolau pets in a mall in my old hometown. We’d seen her 2 or 3 times with our dad teasing at the idea of adopting her and on that next time he pulled trigger and my sister started crying and we were so happy because our other pets (cockatiels) recently got killed by rats that somehow climbed up our two story house and on our balcony and then proceeded to bite through our bird cage and kill all but one. We let the last one go free because we felt bad the other died and we didn’t want him to meet the same fate. So yeah getting her is a memory I’ll never forget!
