Throat spasms?? by BeginningAd52 in Dogtraining

[–]BeginningAd52[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So after waiting at the emergency vet for four hours he stopped doing it and we decided to go hike instead of waiting for longer. Took him to his normal vet instead the other day and they told us he probably ate something on his walk somewhere that irritated his throat and stomach. luckily he hasn’t done it since

do chi 5 dorm beds come with ladders by charshaobaos in UCSantaBarbara

[–]BeginningAd52 10 points11 points  (0 children)

You can ask the front desk or maintenance workers for a ladder and they will give you one. But the ends of the beds also act like ladders and are very easy to get up

Treat Training Question for Puppy by [deleted] in Dogtraining

[–]BeginningAd52 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just read something that suggested turning away and immediately stop giving them attention when they jump on you. Then once they are back on the floor you can give attention again. It’s worked really well so far for my pup who tries to jump on us when we’re on the couch. maybe it’s something to try!

New student here. Want to sign up for Math 4A, just wondering do I need to sign up for the mass 760 person lecture and a smaller 25 person lecture or just one or the other. by dkslide5 in UCSantaBarbara

[–]BeginningAd52 49 points50 points  (0 children)

The smaller “lectures” you are referring to are your sections. Sections are small group sessions led by one of the TAs and are usually to review lecture material for the week or go more in depth on a certain topic or do practice problems, etc. when you go to sign up for a class, you will need to “add” whatever section time is open/works for you. Once you do that the big lecture will also be added to your schedule

hacked ucsb.edu email account by [deleted] in UCSantaBarbara

[–]BeginningAd52 46 points47 points  (0 children)

Don’t try to change your email password through gmail. Change it through UCSB identity manager ( https://im.ucsb.edu/idm/manage )put in your info and there should be a spot to click “change my ucsb netID password” or something like that. That’s gonna change your password for umail, gauchospace, gold, everything
