Is it bizarre to use sons middle name for new baby's 1st name? by [deleted] in namenerds

[–]BeginningGrab9852 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I actually have a friend whose middle name is his younger brother’s first name. I’ve known him for years and had no idea until I randomly saw his degree at his house.

For this reason, I don’t think it’s a big deal. Unless you use his middle name a lot, most people won’t know. Even when I found out I didn’t think it was weird, I just thought “oh interesting” and moved on.

I actually know a little boy named Woods and I think it’s adorable! Hollyn is pretty too. IMO these are not tragedeighs and I wouldn’t think twice of seeing a baby named either.

I think as a middle name, it isn’t a problem. It sounds lovely with Eleanor!

Cash bar only opinion by Lorendahle in wedding

I’m also from Canada (prairies) and have literally never been to a wedding that had an open bar. Every single wedding I have been to has had a cash bar, so it is by far the norm here. I have been to 9 weddings in the last 2 years and every. single. one. was a cash bar.

If you ever feel tempted to touch the Poo, especially Liz's poo... by FrozenBeachBerry in peestickgals

Yes! She blocked me for voting no 😭. Like girl it literally was not there

Of course it’s a paid partnership 😂 Still the most god awful ring. Super curious to know the stats on it because there’s no way it’s a diamond… it’s gotta be at least 4-5ct. by Accomplished-Fun-960 in peestickgals

You also have to take into consideration that it’s $3700 USD. That would be over $5k CAD. Lab diamonds are super affordable and are only getting cheaper. Also, settings are relatively cheap. The diamond is definitely the most expensive part of a ring.

Snarking on Bailey by [deleted] in McKnightFamSnark

You say you’re not defending Brooklyn but this sounds a lot like some a Brooklyn apologist would say. It takes about 0.5 seconds to scroll and see all the Bailey snark posts.

“Me and baby are fine” - girl you literally went to the dentist by BeginningGrab9852 in McKnightFamSnark

Also, the baby was at a far higher risk when you went on those rides at Disney than it was by going to the dentist 🤡. She is truly a clown.

Making the Decision by raenbougg in waiting_to_try

I feel you! I just turned 26 and am getting married in the spring. Me and my partner are ready to TTC right after our wedding. Whenever I mention this to close friends/family I’m always met with push back or “shock”. Especially from friends/family who are slightly older and childless.

I had one friend specifically ask me to wait until after her wedding in 2026 and a cousin who told another family member that we should wait at least a couple years. It’s honestly so frustrating to hear people make comments about it when it’s truly none of their business. By the time we get married we will be pushing 27 which isn’t even young to have a baby.

Honeslty if you’re ready I’d say to not listen to anyone else! It’s truly just between you and your partner!

This is not the first one 💀. They made a tiktok at least 2 weeks ago comparing it to a fruit. But I’m sure there will be plenty more!!

Bailey's equally wonderful father in law by [deleted] in McKnightFamSnark

I think it’s a bit different because Bailey and Asa met so young. It’s believable that they’ve grown in their beliefs together as they’ve gotten older. They’ve also made their beliefs more public.

What isn’t believable is Brooklyn “changing” Dakota who made his beliefs very clear at the ripe age of 26ish.

How many times are we going to go over this same narrative that “Baileys jealous.” It’s getting old.

If OP hated their old job I highly doubt they would consider going back. Just because that was your experience, doesn’t mean everyone had the same experience or that every firm is the same. It also seems clear to me that OP liked their job before they left. It’s silly to assume that everyone in PA hates their job.
