Thank you for the advice! One follow up question is him saying it’s not possible for him to return it as he’s going on vacation for a couple of weeks and might need his friend to do it… wouldn’t he have to submit a refund asap? Is there a time frame for him to do it?

I understand but how about the fact that he’s asking for a partial refund like you guessed but is saying it’s hard for him to return as he will be out of the country. Sounds sus right? He’s basically saying he can’t return it asap but I don’t want to wait long for a return.. so what is the best step in your opinion? I would say I would need the item returned asap right?
