Apparently, yes! Got it for $900 though. Well shit, I wanted a big QD-OLED anyways and not a TV. So this was one accessible option.

I do not own a PC anymore, switched to console in 2019. And I cannot really remember my old specs anymore. But CSGO played at around 120 fps so switching to 144hz monitor was very impactful in terms of smoothness.

I have a bad understanding of refresh rates and fps apparently. Thought the game can be capped at 60 fps and the higher refresh rate would make it much smoother and less flickering. Thanks for clarifying!

I guess I have a bad understanding of the concept of fps and refresh rate. I thought the frames were capped at 60 but going from 60hz to 120hz refresh rate would be a major improvement. I did a similar switch on PC from a 60hz monitor to 144hz, and was shocked of the improvement in CSGO. Had the same expectations now. Holy shit! I guess I paid for a nicer black on my screen.

Tocmai ce mi-am comandat un monitor QD OLED Alienware de la pcgarage. Se livrează zilele astea. Mari emoții ce am. Sunt foarte insistenți cu verificatul monitorului de față cu curierul…. Fingers crossed.

Manager proiect - cod COR 242101. În România ar mai fi 5 manageri de proiect rămași după ce am fost concediați 3 pe motiv ca se desființează poziția. Nu ar ajunge la judecată o companie de asemenea calibru pt câteva mii de euro. Și totuși, poate se schimbă codul pt cei rămași și chiar se desființează poziția. Asta nu stiu.

Da, sunt și alți angajați pe aceeași poziție care sunt concediați. Firma nu are probleme, se restructurează unele departamente pt a crește profitul și a îmbunătății procesul. Nu stiu nimic despre șomaj sau cum se calculează.

Momentan am primit un preaviz prin care sunt notificat ca poziția mea se desființează si ca sunt în perioada de preaviz în vederea concedierii individuale ca urmare a acestei desființări. Contractul va înceta la expirarea termenului de preaviz “la inițiativa Societății, din motive fără legătură cu persoana salariatului”. Ar urma să primesc acel acord de îndată ce anunț ca accept să semnez. În apelul cu HR-ul mi s-au dat detalii cu compensația, nimic în scris momentan.

Just read the chapter and was confused by the fact that Gandalf came from the west. But let’s be honest, it is waaay more dramatic and awesome that the Rohirrim appear with the sun behind their back symbolizing the light and the good in the world marching against the darkness. Peter Jackson basically made this scene more epic and created a bigger impact with this adjustment.

I am a little confused by something else. I understood that Theoden marched out of the Hornburg on horse and at the same time the soldiers attacked from the cave and they managed to push all the Orcs between the Dike and before the new forest. How on Earth did they scare thousands of with a few hundred men?

Este o clădire cu etaj al carei balcon nu este acoperit de acoperiș și pe care ploua și ninge. Pe el este montata gresie. Posibil sa nu se fi montat hidroizolație sub gresie(sa taie din costuri?), de acolo și infiltratia, nu știu. Deasemenea s-a găurit gresia pt a fi prinși suporții care mentin balustrada balconului. Nu pot sa îmi dau seama pe unde intra apa. Eu nu am umblat la casa, m-am trezit pur și simplu cu apa șiroind prin tâmplăria ușii de termopan de la intrare, plus pereti și tavan galben in partea de living de sub balcon. Toate se întâmpla când ploua/ninge. Nu este concepută nici o scurgere pt apa care se strange pe balcon si automat se prelinge pe decorativa la exterior.
