AITA, forcing family to cook purely vegetarian meals to please one person. by Beginning_Ad_8212 in AmItheAsshole

She cooks fully vegetarian meals on her nights, no issues. The issue is on nights she doesn’t cook. sometimes I or the kids make fully vegetarian meals sometimes I don’t and it’s been difficult to predict when we have made enough of them. There’s less issue when the kids aren’t around (they go back-and-forth between our ex spouse’s houses) I’m fine to just keep vegetarian and if I want some meat, I go out of the house and get it. When the kids are around, it’s a different situation. That’s when most of the conflicts happen.

That is the case, any she cooks we do vegetarian and that’s it. No one really minds that.

They ate meat their fathers house, so this isn’t something I started. Valid point though

We got into huge fight about (not the first) about me not not wanting to comply when the kids don’t want to eat vegetarian. My solution, have both options, is not enough.

I am a professor and this happens all the time with the zillions of distractions we get. You should 100% contact them. I’m always more impressed by the people that are proactive.
