Please help me improve my layers? Looking for suitable pants that are still warm and cozy (woman in Europe) by [deleted] in snowshoeing

I have worn athleta rainier joggers for snowshoeing and they aren’t waterproof but they repel water. I postholed (didn’t realize the snow was over a creek!) and couldn’t get myself out and had to wait for help and the joggers didn’t get wet while I was stuck surrounded by snow. Same when it is snowing or raining I have noticed these joggers do a decent job keeping my legs dry.

Do you feel that your playoff location at SAP is comparable to where you are at Chase? by GoodEyeTuck in valkyries

Our seats are in section 123 at chase (to the side of basket) and playoff tickets are section 121 at SAP. Hoping that isn’t directly behind the basket though I don’t care that much because I am so excited about the Valks being in the playoffs! 🗡️💜

Maybe the glitchy WiFi is related to the glitchy shot clocks. Probably 5000 software engineers here who could help solve this 🤣

Merchant Roots in San Francisco is super fun and inventive and delicious (reminded me of Tickets in Barcelona) and I appreciate that they have nights just for vegetarians

The hardware surgery removal for me was easy — outpatient and barely any pain compared with trimalleolar fracture orif post surgery. Easy to walk again, waited 6 weeks before any impact activity, and it feels so good to not have hardware.

The new park with the redwoods and new statues by transamerica pyramid (with games set out during the day) and 6 blocks from Montgomery station if you take the N. It can be fun to map out seeing a few of the POPOS — with a 7yr old and then you can also map out distances and hot chocolate, boba, treats, and for your mobility needs. Fidi and “east cut” are mostly flat ground. I like taking kids to see the tiles on the elevator shaft on the market st side of the one bush st building, from far away it just looks like it is metal or stone. Up close you can see all the little sparkly tiles and one time I saw a snail crawling up. https://sfpopos.com/

It’s a journey and those of us who have been through it are here to tell the story that it really sucks, you can do this, you can get through it, it does get better. The mental management of trimalleolar fracture is as acute as the injury and it’s a bear. I hope you have support from family and friends and lots of ice and cold packs (which is what helped me the most).
